Transforming into a Thunder Falcon and soaring freely through the sky was a sensation utterly incomparable to flying a glider or a human-powered aircraft. The latter, in a sense, were merely imitations of birds in flight—and no imitation could compare to a real bird.
A Thunder Falcon was no ordinary bird. It was an exceptionally formidable Level 1 creature born of mutation and evolution. Its unmatched speed among birds and its fierce agility ensured that it had virtually no natural enemies in the sky.
At this moment, Zhang Tie truly understood what freedom in the sky meant.
A Thunder Falcon was incredibly fast, far faster than any human-powered aircraft or glider Zhang Tie had flown. Such rapid flight was almost as effortless to this bird as an ordinary person taking a stroll—there was no strain at all.
Flying through the sky, Zhang Tie felt like a fish returned to water. Whether he was gliding on the currents or beating his wings, everything came easily to him. The air streaming through the Thunder Falcon's feathers naturally held its body aloft, with almost no resistance.
Though he was flying, everything felt so natural and perfectly within his grasp that it truly seemed as though he were taking a walk through the fields.
Although this was not his first time transforming into a Thunder Falcon, and he had tried it many times during this period in the Castle of Black Iron, its space had always been somewhat cramped and confined for a Thunder Falcon. Only after coming outside did flying become truly pleasant for Zhang Tie.
What interested Zhang Tie most was the Thunder Falcon's vision. Among all animals, birds possessed the finest eyesight, and the Thunder Falcon's vision was even more formidable. Compared to that of a human, it was vastly superior.
