"It seemed to be a cave-heaven world. Something like this actually existed in the real world."
Seeing this, Zhao Cheng was somewhat surprised.
Before this, he had only known that Susan was something akin to a key, but he had not been clear on exactly what changes she would trigger.
The emergence of a cave-heaven world in this world was something Zhao Cheng had never anticipated.
But now, reasoning backward from the result, this place was connected to the Sword Seed. Given the Sword Seed's miraculous nature, it indeed did not seem like something that could have been born within this universe.
Zhao Cheng sensed the surroundings and found no danger, so he stepped directly into the ripples. At once, heaven and earth transformed.
"So it merely severed off a portion of space, rather than opening up a cave-heaven from nothing."
Only after entering did Zhao Cheng realize that his earlier conjecture had been somewhat off.
The difference between severing space-time and opening a cave-heaven was that once the power maintaining a severed space-time was exhausted, all the spaces within would return to their original places. But if the power of a cave-heaven ran out, only destruction awaited it.
At the same time, Zhao Cheng detected a circulating, strange energy. But now that the sealed space was no longer sealed, that energy was dissipating at an extremely rapid rate.
With a mental probe, Zhao Cheng immediately discovered that this energy was very much like spiritual essence in nature—though only very much like it. Or rather, their core was the same: both were projections of high-dimensional space-time. Yet because space-time differed, their manifestations in low-dimensional space-time also differed.
"So that's it. Because high-dimensional space-time does not exist here, even the shadow of high-dimensional power cannot endure for long."
Zhao Cheng understood.
