Background

Li Xingluo was born to Li Hong and his first wife, Empress Pu Wanjun. Her mother had helped Li Hong rise to the throne, but died saving him when Great Demons infiltrated the Imperial City; Li Xingluo’s elder brother also perished during the attack. Li Xingluo survived as a newborn. 18 93 103

Out of grief and guilt, Li Hong made her the sole one among his nine daughters to receive the title of Princess and granted her the right to establish her own manor. He also personally taught her from childhood and gave her authority comparable to the Crown Prince’s. 18 103
