After the first class ended, Ran Mouri leaned over beside Shinichi Kudo. Looking at the practically brand-new textbook in his hands, she asked curiously.
"Hm?" Shinichi Kudo followed her gaze and looked at the book he had just closed, scratching his head. "It's not too bad. I wasn't gone for that long... was I?"
"Is this what being smart is like? So unfair." Sonoko Suzuki, who had been watching them with her chin in her hands, shook her head. "Then again, if your memory were bad, you couldn't be a detective."
