A number of guests marked that night had been taken away by the Public Security Bureau and officially registered as missing.

The explosion that had directly collapsed the entire building, the people connected to the case who had been found unconscious in the guest rooms before the blast, the investigation into the Tokiwa Group's illegal activities...

Combined with the fact that Mio Tokiwa's banquet had been packed with guests, with celebrities and influential figures from every level of her network invited, the First Investigation Division's evidence-gathering work became exceedingly difficult.
