I still hadn't fully recovered, and I also wanted to write in some details, but I was afraid they'd turn out so badly they'd ruin the reading experience.
Switzerland was actually very important, because back then more than half its population were Germans, and most of them were Catholics who were easy to assimilate.
At the same time, Austria found the country's Italians relatively easy to accept.
What's more, Switzerland's territory would have a significant impact on the layout of Central Europe.
