Background and History

Kaoru grew up relying on her grandfather, Sakura Masayoshi, after her parents died in an accident. She lived above Fish Fresh House in Fuyuki’s Miyama Town shopping district and welcomed Sasuke Uchiha into the household when he arrived; after several years together, she regarded him as an older brother. At Homurahara Academy, she was a high-performing Class 1-B student with an outgoing personality and close friends, including Sakura Matou. 1 4 5 49

During the Fifth Holy Grail War, Kaoru was attacked at school and nearly died after her life force was drained. Rin Tohsaka saved her with Jewel Magecraft, then used a suggestion spell so Kaoru would not remember the incident.
