Background

Su Jiu first appeared as a long-range sniper holding Shrek Academy students hostage. He demanded a 100,000-year Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum from Yun Ming, then demonstrated Flame Demon Roar’s extreme range by severely injuring Long Yeyue from more than 30,000 meters away. 1

His first Void Hornet Sentry Clone, A-Jiu, accidentally entered Gu Yuena’s underground palace and became trapped when she sealed its self-destruction mechanism. Rather than destroy it, Su Jiu allowed A-Jiu to remain with Gu Yuena as companionship. 3 Soon afterward, Su Jiu fired on Tang San’s descending presence in an attempt to secure the Golden Dragon King God Core. Tang San blocked the shot, but Su Jiu escaped through a pre-deployed sentry; the recoil left him catastrophically injured and unconscious for three years. 4 5

After recovering, Su Jiu began acting openly under the Leng Family name. He defeated Cai Yue’er, defeated Yun Ming through A-Qi’s simultaneous control of Sharp Bee Hunting and Phantom Night Wanderer, severed Yun Ming’s arm, and claimed the title of the continent’s strongest. 10 11 23 During the Holy Spirit Cult’s assault on the Sea God Family, he also acted as the Silver Dragon King’s strategist, persuading Di Tian to withdraw rather than compromise Gu Yuena’s longer-term plans. 13

Su Jiu later entered Eastsea Academy under the guise of an ordinary Level 72 Soul Saint. He became Class Five’s homeroom teacher, personally tailored training for Na’er, Gu Yue, Tang Wulin, and Xie Xie, then became Zero Class’s homeroom teacher. 43 50 65

His later schemes centered on Dragon Valley, the Phoenix God Position, the Golden Dragon King God Core, and the separation of Gu Yuena, Gu Yue, and Na’er. He abducted Tang Wulin to force Tang San into a hostage exchange, while A-Jiu’s apparent final sacrifice convinced Gu Yuena to carry out Su Jiu’s intended plan. 70 71 After receiving the Golden Dragon King God Core, Su Jiu discovered the broader nature of his first martial soul and began using its components to restore Gu Xier’s sanity. 79 80 81

Su Jiu is calculating, ambitious, and strongly transactional. He treats power, information, favors, and rare resources as leverage, repeatedly exploiting opponents’ desires for Immortal Herbs, divine blood, cultivation, or loved ones. 24 29 39 59 He is also willing to deceive allies when he believes the outcome justifies it, as shown by his manipulation of Gu Yuena through A-Jiu’s sacrifice. 71

Despite this, he is consistently protective of those he considers his own. He evacuated Leng Yaozhu and Na’er before confronting a soul-guided artillery barrage, worries about Na’er pushing herself too hard, and promises to help her become independent of the Silver Dragon Blood. 12 36 47 He is particularly attentive to Leng Yaozhu, giving her rare resources and the Phoenix God Position without demanding payment. 25 77
