Power Progression

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Peak Silver Dragon King 71 Reintegrates Na'er’s divided power, restoring herself to peak condition; she then proceeds with A-Jiu’s plan to secure divine inheritances for Gu Yue and Na'er 71

Background / History

Gu Yuena once relied on A-Jiu for companionship during her earlier isolation. Through Na'er, she later gives A-Jiu a Silver Dragon Reverse Scale so that A-Jiu can locate her if lost 3.

After Na'er recovers memories and identifies herself as Gu Yuena, Di Tian takes her away. At the Lake of Life, the separated Gu Yue and Na'er immediately compete over A-Jiu, whom both consider indispensable to their plans and companionship 31.

Gu Yuena’s plan depends on Gu Yue and Na'er, sub-personalities she created to execute her Dragon God-derived World-Shocking Wisdom strategy more efficiently. She retains authority over them and can take control of Gu Yue’s body; both sub-personalities fear that their lives and autonomy rest on her will 44 57.

A-Jiu’s apparent death deeply devastates her. Following A-Jiu’s final instructions, Gu Yuena restores herself to her peak by reabsorbing Na'er’s divided power, captures Tang Wulin as leverage against Tang San, and resolves to separate Gu Yue and Na'er into independent people afterward 71.

She trades Tang Wulin to Tang San for the Seeds of Life and Destruction and the Phoenix God Position. She later exchanges the Phoenix God Position to Su Jiu for Dragon Valley, intending to obtain the means to create bodies for Gu Yue and Na'er 75 76 77.

On Devil Island, Gu Yuena coerces the weakened God Kings of Life and Destruction into forging compatible bodies and transferring their inheritances to Na'er and Gu Yue. The process uses the island’s life and destruction primordial stones to form the Life and Destruction Yin-Yang Eye around the Twinborn Stone 84 86.

Appearance

In her mature guise, Gu Yuena is a tall, slender woman with silver hair and amethyst-like eyes. Her usual bearing is cold, noble, and detached, though her composure often gives way to visible embarrassment, jealousy, or childish excitement around Su Jiu 32 76 77.

  • Silver hair, sometimes left disheveled when she is frustrated or unable to think of a solution 76.
  • Violet or amethyst-like eyes; her dragon traits can manifest as vertical pupils 75 77.
  • Carries an aura of aloof nobility befitting the Silver Dragon King 32.
  • Can manifest through Gu Yue’s body, distinguished by an abrupt shift in eye color and overwhelming spiritual pressure 44.

Personality

Gu Yuena is proud of her status as the Silver Dragon King and expects obedience from the personalities she created. She initially treats Na'er’s possessions, choices, and independence as extensions of her own authority, reacting harshly when Na'er refuses to yield Su Jiu’s black card 36.

Despite her lofty self-image, she is frequently lazy, impulsive, and dependent on others to solve problems. When confronted with the challenge of separating Gu Yue and Na'er, she gives up on finding a solution herself and assigns Na'er the task instead 76. Her reliance on World-Shocking Wisdom does not prevent her from being manipulated by Na'er or outmaneuvered by Su Jiu 36 76.

She is intensely possessive and jealous regarding Su Jiu. Her attempt to hypnotize him is motivated by a desire to make him hers, and his involuntary praise of Leng Yaozhu and Na'er provokes immediate anger 77. At the same time, A-Jiu’s loss reveals her capacity for grief and genuine attachment 71.

Abilities & Skills

Silver Dragon King Physiology

Gu Yuena possesses the Silver Dragon King’s bloodline, a dragon physique, and command of the ultimate seven elements 49 91.

  • Uses elemental power with enough precision to imitate the appearance of Su Jiu’s Flame Demon Roar from condensed extreme ice 64.
  • Her dragon bloodline reacts strongly to the Golden Dragon King’s aura and God Core 42 44.
  • At peak strength, she can tear open space and summon Na'er back to her location 71.
  • Her presence exerts master-to-servant spiritual suppression over Gu Yue and Na'er 44.

World-Shocking Wisdom

Gu Yuena possesses the Dragon God’s World-Shocking Wisdom, an insight-oriented ability used in planning and judgment 36 75.

  • Recognizes the danger of rashly taking Tang Wulin’s Golden Dragon King God Core and adopts a wait-and-watch approach instead 42.
  • Helps her negotiate with Tang San for divine inheritances and plan Gu Yue and Na'er’s separation 71 75.
  • Does not guarantee sound judgment; she is still susceptible to Na'er’s deception and struggles with practical, emotional problems 76.

Spiritual Control and Hypnosis

Gu Yuena can observe through and seize control of Gu Yue’s body, as well as exert spiritual pressure over both Gu Yue and Na'er 44.

  • Takes over Gu Yue during the Class Promotion Tournament and overwhelms Zhang Yangzi without needing a conventional fight 64.
  • Attempts to place Su Jiu under spiritual hypnosis at the Leng Family residence 77.
  • Her hypnosis is ineffective against Su Jiu, who only pretends to be controlled 76 77.
  • Her control over Gu Yue and Na'er weakens in practice once they become independent and reject her authority 88.

Silver Dragon Spear

Gu Yuena wields the Silver Dragon Spear when confronting the divine souls of the God Kings of Life and Destruction 84.

  • Uses the spear to threaten the Twin Life and Destruction Crystal and force the God Kings to negotiate 84.
  • The spear can pierce the Life God King’s divine-tree form and absorb god-tier life essence 84.

Marksmanship

Gu Yuena proves highly adept with Su Jiu’s Flame Demon Roar after asking to use it on Devil Island 82 83.

  • Receives temporary Soul Power imaging from Su Jiu to improve her aim 83.
  • Participates in eliminating the Old Devils; slain targets are converted into ammunition for Flame Demon Roar 83.
  • Uses Su Jiu’s Soul Power to fire the weapon, limiting her to roughly twenty shots without replenishment through kills 82.
  • Competes with the weapon itself for mastery, as Flame Demon Roar reacts angrily to being used by her 83.

  • Na'er / Su Na'er — A sub-personality created by Gu Yuena. Their relationship deteriorates from control and dependence into open estrangement after Na'er gains independence 44 88.

  • Tang San — Enemy and bargaining counterpart. Gu Yuena holds Tang Wulin hostage to exchange him for divine inheritances, then vows hostility toward Tang San 71 75.
  • Tang Wulin — Carrier of the Golden Dragon King God Core. Gu Yuena is drawn to his bloodline but avoids taking the core prematurely; she later takes him as “interest” against Tang San 42 44 71.
  • Gu Xier — The Golden Dragon King and Gu Yuena’s elder sister. Gu Xier remains in Su Jiu’s sea of consciousness to watch him on Gu Yuena’s behalf 80 81.
