And so, before Sun Yu could even finish his meal, he was kicked out by Lana. As he traveled through the sky, he reminisced about the unfinished grilled steak, Earth Dragon, shark burger, whale whisker, and giant squid on the table... suddenly, his entire world felt bleak.
In order to retrieve the Dragon Balls as quickly as possible, Sun Yu flew at an incredible speed.
He was like a streak of silver light cutting through the horizon, vanishing in an instant; even if someone happened to look up, they wouldn't be able to catch a glimpse of the silver light's true form.
Because of his previous experience, Sun Yu quickly located the ruins of the former Red Ribbon Army. The area was now just a stretch of ocean, as he had blasted the land to nothingness himself, and he had no idea where the Dragon Balls might have ended up.
Taking out the Dragon Radar, Sun Yu carefully searched for the location of the Dragon Balls. Sure enough, according to the display, two Dragon Balls were scattered on the seabed. Sun Yu locked onto the one closest to him, steeled himself, and dove headfirst into the water to search the ocean floor.
On the seabed, one could still vaguely see the wreckage of the former Red Ribbon Army headquarters. Sun Yu arrived at the coordinates shown on the Dragon Radar and began digging frantically through the pile of debris.
Sun Yu had to surface for air every so often, and while he felt resentful, he had no one to blame but himself. If he had been more careful and snatched the Dragon Balls before wiping out the Red Ribbon Army, he wouldn't be suffering like this now.
Finally, through his relentless efforts, Sun Yu unearthed the Dragon Ball. He carefully tucked it away, terrified of losing it again.
With only the Six-Star Ball remaining, Sun Yu would have all seven Dragon Balls to summon the dragon. However, Sun Yu didn't have much interest in the Earth's dragon; after all, he knew that the world also held the Namekian dragon and even the Super Shenron that spanned the entire galaxy.
Before Sun Yu transmigrated, he had fantasized countless times about one day collecting the seven Dragon Balls and summoning the dragon to grant his wish for immortality. It would be even more perfect if he could obtain a body as indestructible as Majin Buu.
But as Sun Yu's horizons broadened, he realized that in the face of absolute power, nothing was truly indestructible!
Whether it was Cell or Majin Buu, or even Zamasu, who possessed an immortal body in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse, they could all be defeated—and it was always the Saiyan who defeated them!
Perhaps Saiyans aren't born powerful, but when faced with immense pressure and life-or-death trials, they always break through their limits time and again, erupting with unprecedented potential. This constitution was something even Zamasu, a member of the divine race, coveted.
Therefore, Sun Yu did not want to rely on the power of the Dragon Balls for now, at least not until he touched the realm of the gods. If one day Sun Yu could stand at the same height as the God of Destruction Beerus, it would seem ridiculous to rely on external means to improve his strength. Mortals are mortals, after all; if he wanted to go further in martial arts, he would undoubtedly need the power of the Super Shenron.
Besides, Lana had mentioned earlier that she had a wish she wanted to fulfill, so he would leave this chance to summon the dragon to her.
Following the instructions on the Dragon Radar, Sun Yu arrived at a massive rock on the seabed. It looked like the final Six-Star Ball had been buried by the boulder. What a headache. Should he use a Kamehameha to blast this rock to pieces? Or should he use a Kamehameha to blast this rock to pieces?
Fine, he decided: he would use a Kamehameha to blast this rock to pieces!
Sun Yu backed up several meters and began to gather his energy. Since he was only shattering a rock, he didn't need to compress too much battle power; ten or twenty thousand should be plenty... er, maybe seven or eight thousand would suffice...
Forget it, he would just keep the force at one thousand to avoid being heavy-handed and turning this place into a flat plain, which would make finding the Dragon Ball impossible again.
After controlling his output, Sun Yu thrust his Kamehameha forward, the deep blue light illuminating the entire seabed.
When the Kamehameha struck the rock, it instantly pierced through and exploded at the center, creating a terrifying shockwave. At that moment, a vacuum appeared where the giant boulder had been, and massive amounts of seawater surged outward. At the base of the rock, Sun Yu saw a yellow glass sphere—it was the Six-Star Ball he had been looking for.
After finding the Six-Star Ball, Sun Yu flew quickly to its location, hoping to grab it before the seawater rushed back in.
Brushing away the mud around the Six-Star Ball, Sun Yu grasped it in his hand. Finally, he had collected all seven Dragon Balls. Even though these were just the Earth's Dragon Balls, Sun Yu was quite curious about what wish Lana would make. He hoped it wasn't to have the dragon make her the Queen of Planet Vegeta.
Seeing the seawater beginning to flow back, Sun Yu prepared to leave, but his eyes accidentally caught sight of an iron door that had appeared beneath the giant rock. Most infuriatingly, the heavy iron door had "Authorized Personnel Only" written on it.
Unfortunately, Sun Yu was the type of curious cat who, upon seeing such a sign, only wanted to go inside and investigate even more. This was the site of the former Red Ribbon Army, so there might be some secret laboratory inside. It would be even more exciting if it were the kind that conducted live experiments, especially after the appearance of the previous Androids, which only strengthened Sun Yu's resolve to go in and take a look.
Could it be an unfinished Android? That would be a great beauty, Sun Yu thought to himself, then smashed the heavy iron door open with a single punch and strode inside.
After entering, Sun Yu closed the iron door behind him. The sea surface had already returned to normal. Sun Yu walked inward; the dark corridor emitted eerie, chilling light, and the rusted walls were the perfect setting for a horror movie—the kind that didn't need any artificial effects. You could just bring a camera and start filming immediately, no joke!
However, Sun Yu wasn't afraid of such scenes. Once one reached their level of strength, all ghosts and monsters were just fleeting clouds. If any blind spirit dared to try and scare Sun Yu, he wouldn't mind sending it to oblivion. So, this paragraph really wasn't him trying to bolster his own courage—it really wasn't!
Sun Yu walked into the depths of the underground laboratory. He passed through a long corridor with laboratories on both sides, their walls made of transparent glass. Inside were various instruments and bottles of chemical substances. Sun Yu didn't understand any of it, so he decisively ignored them.
Finally, after several turns, he arrived at a room that looked like a library, except the rows of shelves weren't filled with books, but with dense clusters of Micro Spy Robot units. Sun Yu had seen these robots in the Dragon Ball anime; they were used to collect combat data on Dragon Ball warriors like Son Goku and Vegeta, and of course, to collect cell samples from the field.
Sun Yu pushed the door open and entered. In the center of the room, a massive supercomputer was still glowing. The screen displayed a black-and-white interface filled with dense text. Sun Yu was drawn in just by reading the beginning of the article, which read: "The Final Project X!"
