Six years later, the Celestial Dragons had been attacked once again. The residents of the entire Sabaody Archipelago were thrown into panic. Countless Marines rushed through the streets, warships docked along the islands' shores, and gunfire rang out without pause. Pirates who had failed to flee in time came under direct Marine attack, prompting many of them to curse the bastard who had struck the Celestial Dragons and brought this undeserved disaster upon them.

Mirai and the others naturally spotted plenty of Marines, but the Marines did not see them, allowing them to pass unimpeded all the way. The whole street was filled with pirates fleeing in every direction, creating utter chaos. Carrying little Vivi in his arms, Mirai led Boa Hancock and the others toward the Immortal. They still had to wait here for Shanks to arrive, but little Vivi's condition had only just begun to improve. Mirai did not want the Marines' pursuit to disturb her rest, so no matter what, he had to get her back to the ship first.
