Composite Form!

Mimic Fruit—Mirai remembered this fruit. In the original story, it had been possessed by an okama from Crocodile's company, but that one was a Paramecia that could only mimic other people's appearances. He had never expected Kaido's fruit to be a Mimic Fruit as well, except it was a Zoan, a beast-type one that could mimic any animal and even copy their natural instincts and predatory urges. In that regard, the beast-type Mimic Fruit was far stronger than the human-type one. It was just like Sengoku and Chopper: both had Human-Human Fruits, but one was Buddha-type and the other human-type. It seemed human-type Devil Fruits really weren't all that impressive.

Kaido grinned, letting out a low, eerie laugh as his body began to change again. Before long, layers of black scales emerged across his body, each one as sharp as a blade. They rapidly covered Kaido from head to toe, including his face. Even his nose had transformed into something like a sharp spike, looking immensely lethal.

This beast form is a composite form—it has the scales of an ancient dragon, the strongest scales in the world; the burrowing claws of a pangolin; and a rhinoceros horn capable of piercing through anything.
