Sensitive Intuition!

Luffy had long since eaten himself into oblivion. He held a huge chunk of meat in one hand, his mouth never stopping for even a moment. The other people in the tavern watched the way Luffy and his group ate and shook their heads helplessly. Pirates were pirates—they simply did not know the meaning of refinement.

"Everyone, eat as much as you want! The meat here tastes great—I'm definitely going to eat more!" Luffy shouted through a mouthful of food.

At the entrance, Ace spotted Luffy the moment he came in, sitting at the table with his back to him and stuffing himself. Ace immediately pressed down his hat with one hand and quietly approached Luffy from behind, a faint smile appearing on his lips. Of course, everyone except Luffy noticed what Ace was doing. However, seeing that he showed no killing intent and that his smile was full of goodwill, no one warned Luffy. Even so, Zoro and the others prepared themselves for a fight. The moment Ace showed any killing intent, they would rush in to help.

"Luffy!" Without caring about anyone else, Ace shouted directly into Luffy's ear, then slapped him on the shoulder. The tremendous force sent Luffy rolling off the table, screaming in pain.

"Ace, what are you doing? Can't you see I'm eating?!" Luffy sat on the floor, still holding his meat, and looked at Ace with displeasure. As brothers who had grown up together since childhood, Luffy had recognized him the instant Ace called his name. And with Luffy's thick nerves, he did not look surprised in the slightest. Instead, he merely complained, as though he had already forgotten all the hardship he had gone through searching for Ace over the past two days.
