Background

Shen Ye was a youth from the 21st century before transmigrating into the Naruto world and falling above Konoha’s women’s bathhouse. His arrival immediately caused him to be mistaken for a peeping tom and placed him in conflict with Konoha ninja. He also awakened a system capable of stealing skills through physical contact, though its initial success rate was low. 1

After claiming that he had no home or surviving parents, Shen Ye was taken in by Tsunade. She arranged to explain his circumstances to the Hokage and offered him a place at the Ninja Academy; Shen Ye thereafter lived with her and called her “Sister Tsunade.” 3 21

At the Academy, Shen Ye concealed much of his strength while dealing with suspicion over the bathhouse incident, particularly from Mikoto and Hyuga Yuexing.
