Background / History

Konoha is a respected teacher from a ninja village whose long-guarded secret becomes the invaders' objective. Shikaku considers Konoha's intellect among the village's finest, while the group views him as a crucial source of protection and guidance. 211

During the village's destruction, Konoha is found alive but severely injured beneath a pile of corpses. Shikaku rescues him and carries him back to their hiding place while fighting off enemy cleanup forces. 210

Shen Ye gives Konoha a precious healing medicine rather than using it on himself, believing Konoha's survival is necessary to uncover the truth behind the attack. 212 While Konoha remains unconscious, Shen Ye attempts to evacuate him from the battlefield using Wind Release. 213

After recovering, Konoha decisively turns the battle against the Sound Ninja and helps repel their attackers. He leads Shen Ye, Shikaku, and Inoichi to a cave, conceals their traces with a barrier, and entrusts them with protecting the village's secret if he falls. 214 215

When the group moves to rescue captured elders, Konoha holds back the surrounding enemy ninja so Shikaku and Inoichi can escape and complete the rescue. 220

Personality

Konoha is protective of his village's heritage and unwilling to reveal its secret to hostile forces, even after the settlement has been occupied and devastated. He frames the conflict as a struggle to defend what generations of villagers safeguarded. 215

He remains composed under pressure and gives direct, practical orders in combat. When Shen Ye's condition worsens, Konoha warns the others of the physical danger but continues supporting the group's escape and rescue effort. 218 220
