Background / History

Before arriving in the Douluo World, Juggler served as STORAGE's captain under the identity of Hebikura Shota. He enjoyed watching Natsukawa Haruki and Ultraman Z develop, copied Haruki's transformation device to create a Dark Riser, and once fought Haruki after growing to giant size. 2

After being transported to Douluo Continent with only basic knowledge of its world, Juggler sought Lan Kai's intelligence on local history and possible Dark Ring holders. He ultimately accepted Leng Yaozhu's invitation to become the Spirit Pagoda's fifth Spirit Envoy because the organization gave him access to intelligence on Soul Masters across the continent. 2 21

Juggler recognized Lan Kai's potential as a Warrior of Light, adopted him from the orphanage, and personally recruited him into the Spirit Pagoda. He then trained Lan Kai through repeated close-combat defeats intended to develop instinct and muscle memory rather than merely teach techniques. 2 4

While investigating the Dark Ring's fragmented influence, Juggler became involved in protecting Na'er and confronting threats from the Demon Plane, the Holy Spirit Cult, the Abyssal Plane, and factions connected to Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect. His influence within the Spirit Pagoda later increased, and he became its Vice Tower Master. 3 34 150
