Human Experimentation!

The day after the modifications were completed, Shiro did not sit idle. Instead, he immediately headed to the secret experimental area of the Workshop. He was going to begin his research into divine speech now.

Although he was currently in a weakened state, he did not have much time. Besides, that state only meant he could not fight. If he was releasing a Noble Phantasm for research, he could still manage it.

So, after resting briefly, Shiro said a word to Azu and entered the Biological Laboratory, then sealed it shut.

For the time being, it was better not to let Azu know about this. It was not that he did not trust him; the main issue was that the little guy had experienced a lot. If he came into contact with things like this as well, it might lead to some very bad changes.

The layout of Shiro's Workshop was very simple: the Living Quarters, the Confinement Room, two experimental zones, and the Study Area that had been added after Ayue and the others arrived. Other than those, there were no other facilities.

Of the experimental zones, one was the First Experimental Zone, used for developing and practicing ninjutsu and magecraft. The other, the one Shiro was using now, was the Second Experimental Zone.

Shiro had not used this laboratory much, so it was still fairly empty. Before the order Shiro had given Gray Snake, there had only been some White Zetsu clones soaking inside it. Aside from that, there had been basically nothing.

However, Shiro's target this time was not the White Zetsu clones, so he skipped right past them and arrived at the innermost part of the experimental zone.
