Before entering a long seclusion, Lone Moon placed Lone Moon Peak's authority and daily resource-allocation keys in the hands of Qin Wan, her youngest and lowest-cultivated disciple. She judged that her older disciples, stalled at late Qi Refining and desperate for Foundation Establishment resources, might misuse the peak's holdings or turn against one another. 32

Her seclusion was intended to use the Lunar Body-Refining Art, received from Qin Wan's father, to condense illusory Innate Qi, open her Purple Mansion, and form a superior Golden Core.
