After resting for a day, she would travel to the City of Immortals through the gene-lock portal installed in the apartment. Teleportation magic was somewhat difficult for her, and to avoid a horrific teleportation accident, every portal she used had been set up personally by Salomon. Wanda Maximoff even joked that if the destination were a fireplace in the City of Immortals, it would feel even more like the Harry Potter series. As for Pietro Maximoff, he had agreed to go to the City of Immortals with his sister tomorrow to begin work. Tonight, he would return to the Avengers base to pack his things, then drink with the agents who carried out low-level security assignments alongside him—those were the only missions he could take now, since his training was not yet complete, and he could only assist local police in apprehending criminals—and hold a low-key farewell party.
Wanda repeatedly warned him not to reveal where he was going. Although Pietro readily agreed, Wanda still could not quite put her mind at ease.
