"Enough!" Salomon turned sideways, and the spread-winged eagle on his thick shoulder armor had its head cut off. Finally unable to endure any longer, he severed Hela's arm with the Sacred Sword and pressed the tip of the Sacred Spear against the Goddess of Death's throat as she lay on the ground. Such grievous wounds and pain finally snapped Hela out of her madness. The Arcanist planted his armored boot on the black sword Night Sky, completely cutting off any hope Hela had of striking back. The nearly damaged vocal unit at his throat barely carried his voice, though the crackling current made it difficult to hear. Perhaps Malphas had anticipated future needs and deliberately used precious materials for the vocal unit, allowing it to block Hela's blade and spare the Arcanist from having his throat slit.

"You're not bad either." Hela spat. The scorching sweat was swiftly cooled by the cold wind atop the mountain. She struggled to calm the fury in her heart and bring reason back to her mind. "If not for that damned Odin..."
Through the electronic eye servo system, the Arcanist looked at Hela's stubborn, unyielding gaze. Hela's madness had forced him to use strength beyond the ordinary, turning what had been a contest of martial skill into a struggle of brute force.
