Salomon believed in accurate prophecies, but he only regarded them as guidance rather than an inevitable outcome.

The great prophet Nostradamus had once been a member of the Brotherhood of the Shield and had played a crucial role in the campaign to destroy a Celestial hatchling. Salomon had read the famed prophet's notes and deeply understood just how important the interpretation of prophecies was, even those of the Delphic Oracle at the Temple of Apollo. Take Vanessa's matter, for instance. Salomon thought that having the Sisterhood put an explosive round into Wilson Fisk's head would solve most of the problem. Or he could find some punk to squat outside Wilson Fisk's office building with an RPG-7 and fire when the opportunity arose. That would solve the problem too. As it happened, Salomon's personal lawyer, Matthew Murdock, wanted to borrow the Arcanists' power to gather evidence that could send Wilson Fisk to prison, and Salomon did not mind including a bullet with the evidence.

Salomon licked his lips and frowned, but stopped just as he was about to give the order.
