The pain of being pierced through the chest from behind nearly robbed the boy of his ability to think. He felt as though his spine were about to shatter. Without looking down, he knew his shoulders and arms had to be a bloody mess. Under such powerful acceleration, rough stone bricks could turn into sharp skinning blades. Then he saw the White Figure with Golden Mask, and watched it walk toward him.
"Looking at this face, does it remind you of anything?" The man removed his mask and asked in an icy tone. The boy merely gave a bitter laugh. The stabbing agony in his arms and back had almost completely swallowed his mind. Even after finally catching his breath, he had not fully recovered from the pain that had nearly made him pass out. Yet even knowing that the person before him could kill him, even knowing he could not fight back, the boy still maintained his usual carefree attitude.
