Salomon had a clear understanding of himself; he did not call himself a hypocrite without reason. In the end, his plan to start a war against the Inhumans stemmed mainly from two reasons.
First, the Inhumans' genetic science was highly advanced. It could make up for the shortcomings of Wakanda's Vibranium-centered scientific system and accelerate the Biological Laboratory's research. Second, he did not trust the Inhumans, and that distrust could not be remedied. Black Bolt might stand with humanity, but his subjects might not. Many Inhumans in Attilan yearned more for Kree rule. Black Bolt's brother had once made a deal with Kree spies before fleeing Attilan.
Anyone would feel unsafe with a group of genetically mutated beings at their side, creatures who wavered constantly and believed themselves superior to humanity. Therefore, Salomon intended to use a war of conquest to force the Inhumans to choose a side: retain their loyalty to humanity and live, or long for Kree rule and die. There were no other options. Choose one of two—an option only tyrants and warlords would offer. Salomon knew himself well enough to believe that both descriptions fit him. Even if the Inhumans submitted, Salomon would not allow them to leave the moon. They could only remain on the Dark Side of the Moon, breeding among relatives and slowly dying out, draining their last drop of blood for humanity's destiny to conquer the galaxy.
He knew of his hypocrisy, and he understood that he would eventually pay a painful price for it. But for the future he had seen, he was willing to stake everything.
Before that, however, he still had to persuade Shuri to cooperate with the Fifth Demon Pillar in developing and improving equipment suited for combat in low-gravity environments. Current armored units were not suited for
