Agent Romanoff drew her pistol from behind her waist, rolled to the doorway, and crouched there to wait. Before the enemy who had burst into the room could react, she displayed astonishing flexibility, kicking his pistol away with a high leg lift before driving her heel into the assassin's chin. Then, like a nimble venomous snake, she wrapped herself around him and threw him to the floor.

She first slammed the heel of her palm into the unlucky man's throat, then used grappling techniques to restrain him as he endured immense pain, trying to choke him unconscious—but her enemy kept fighting despite the heavy blow to his windpipe. His face flushed crimson as he wheezed through clenched teeth, one hand frantically slapping the floor. Out of the corner of her eye, Natasha Romanoff saw a small knife slowly slipping from his sleeve while her enemy tried to grab it.

"Don't move if you don't want to die!" She wasted no time, immediately aiming her gun at the assassin pinned beneath her and issuing her threat. But the enemy had no intention of submitting and still tried to draw the knife strapped to his wrist to fight back. Natasha Romanoff had to pin his right arm with her left leg, stomp on his other wrist with her right foot, and then smash the magazine hard into the assassin's forehead. As expected, she found nothing on him that could identify him. This was a black operation. Someone wanted to silence him.
