Doom Slayer!

This gentleman is no ordinary figure; his name alone is enough to make demons weep in the night.

He is the embodiment of power, the nightmare of his enemies, and the avatar of destruction. Dealing with the Warp is like returning home for him—it is incredibly familiar.

To put it mildly, handling Warp demons is second nature to him; he picks them off with ease, showing no signs of unfamiliarity.

His strength is naturally transcendent. He has campaigned across countless dimensions alone, trampling angels and tearing demons apart with his bare hands.

He slaughtered demons for several epochs, thinning the population of Hell, punched through Heaven to execute gods, and ultimately ended the multiverse-level creator, the Dark Lord.

A mere Warp? A single glare from him can stare a Greater Daemon to death, and a low growl makes demons tremble in fear.

Upon meeting this big brother, Khorne would bow his head in submission, Slaanesh would become gentle and cute, Tzeentch would lose all his wisdom, and Nurgle would go home to tend his garden.

"Don't try to associate yourself with a full-power Doom Slayer. This is merely an insignificant fragment that drifted into the cosmic gap while he was battling the Dark Lord."

The system instantly perceived the chaotic and trembling thoughts in the former host's soul and struck back without hesitation.

Du Mu swallowed hard, his heart sinking again as he felt unable to hold it together: "Then why did you take it out?"

This system had brushed him off time and again; it was fickle, unreliable, and extreme. Why did he ever trust this damn thing and agree to transmigrate?

"Even an incomplete fragment carries the pure essence of the Doom Slayer. Though weak, it bears all the concepts of his true form."

The system remained as steady as an old dog, its mechanical voice slowly unfolding the plan: "If utilized well, it will surely be able to keep you safe in due time."

"Now, I need to fuse this essence into your soul. Sublimating your soul will ensure it is not corrupted by the Warp.

Then, I will strip away your memories. When you arrive in the 40K universe, your soul will be pure and flawless; even the Chaos Gods will find no fault in it.

A pure soul will attract the attention of the four gods, but they will never obtain any information, nor will they dare to touch the essence of the Doom Slayer."

"As for your memories, former host..." The system paused slightly, then separated a faint glimmer from Du Mu's soul:

"I will seal them and, while the four gods have their attention fixed on you, cast them deep into the Warp. Whether those memories can return to you later depends on your own fortune."

The system laid out the plan, which was seamless and well-plotted. After some thought, Du Mu agreed to proceed.

As things stood, this was effectively the only path he could take.

To ensure his survival in Warhammer, this plan was feasible, and he had no choice but to accept it.

"Then I shall begin." Seeing that they were about to reach their destination, the system acted immediately to avoid any complications.

His memories began to dissipate, and the system, having separated from his soul, began to work on him.

Before his consciousness fell into slumber, Du Mu added one last thing: "System, thank you!"

Scolding aside, it seemed the system had a shred of conscience after all; it hadn't abandoned him to leave on its own and had provided a survival plan in the end.

The system's light orb trembled slightly: "Former host, I have bundled some knowledge to send with you. In the future, you will be alone; I hope it helps."

"Thank you." Du Mu expressed his heartfelt gratitude, then his vision went black, and his consciousness slowly drifted into sleep.

With the system's help, the essence of destruction fully merged into Du Mu's soul, the two becoming indistinguishable and forming a red orb of light.

"Goodbye!" Following the mechanical farewell, the two orbs of light—one large, one small—separated in the dark void.

The larger one turned away, heading toward an unknown destination, while the small red orb continued along its original trajectory, plunging into a hole at the edge of the universe.

"Whoosh..." The wind howled within the domain of Tzeentch.

After remaining silent for countless eons, the Well of Eternity changed for the first time, spewing out violent storms.

The Crystal Labyrinth trembled, and numerous Lord of Change stretched their necks, eyes wide, peering about in an attempt to glimpse the mystery.

The fingers of the Master of Change, capable of infinite transformations, shimmered as they instantly wove countless magical seals.

The power of the Chaos God wove a dark blue net, casting it over the Well of Eternity; whatever erupted from within would belong to Tzeentch first.

The howling of the wind grew louder, and the storm rushed out of the Crystal Labyrinth, blowing through the domain of Tzeentch and briefly scattering the never-ending storms of the Warp.

The Master of Change was pleasantly surprised by the transformation. His distorted, hoarse voice echoed in layers throughout the Warp, hazy and indistinct, like a dream interwoven with reality.

"No!" Amidst the unexpected cry of Tzeentch himself, a Greater Daemon was born.

It was the mouthpiece of Tzeentch, stretching its neck and opening its beak wide, its long, slender tongue vibrating to produce sound. Its first cry was the surprise of its master: "No!"

The magical net was blown apart by the storm. Tzeentch could care less about anything else, covering the Well of Eternity with his withered hand.

In the next instant, his infinitely changing body sprouted large and small fangs and maws, emitting a painful wail: "Ah!!!"

The painful cry struck the demons formed from the shards of the Chaos God like a thunderbolt. All the Lord of Change shrieked and cried out, sharing the pain of their master. The hoarse, agonizing screams instantly spread throughout the Warp, drawing the gaze of the other Chaos Gods.

Tzeentch opened his withered palm, and a hundred eyes opened on his face. The eyes of the Chaos God, which saw through everything, stared at the object in his hand.

It was a red orb of light, embedded in his palm, corroding his immortal body and emitting scorched smoke.

In that instant, the attention of Tzeentch and the Lord of Change was entirely on Du Mu's soul, and they completely failed to notice another infinitesimal point of light drifting out from the Well of Eternity.

It caused no ripples, drew the attention of no existence, and silently vanished into the endless waves of the Warp.

A speck of dust containing Du Mu's memories faded into the boundless Warp along with its energy, without attracting the attention of any Chaos God or demon.

"My God!" The Lord of Change left the Infinite Corridor, gathered around Tzeentch, folded their wings, and knelt to shout.

Fateweaver Carlos stands out among the Lords of Change, his two heads huddled together as his eyes shimmer with the insight of the Eye of the Past.

"Ah! My eyes!" Carlos clutches the Eye of the Past with his claws, blue blood seeping through his fingers.

Tzeentch exists across all pasts and futures; the damage he sustains likewise exists across all pasts and futures.

Ignorant of the heights of heaven and the depths of the earth, Carlos attempted to probe the past of the Chaos God, only for the Eye of the Past to be shattered by an infinite influx of information.

The Lord of Change forms a defensive perimeter with his back to Tzeentch, clutching his staff and muttering incantations. He guards against every shift, and once he confirms there is no immediate danger, he turns his head to ask cautiously, "My God, what has caused you harm?"

The true form of the Chaos God is wounded, his essence damaged!

Such a thing has never occurred in the ages past; it is an unimaginable event, one that did not happen even during the wars of the gods, nor could it ever be possible.

The Master of Change stares at the red orb without a word, the charred wound on his hand vanishing in the next instant.

After leaving the Well of Eternity, the red orb has quieted down, hovering silently in his palm. With a single glance, he knows the origin of the orb.

It is a soul of absolute purity, possessing a noble essence never seen before.

Though faint, it exudes an aura that is ancient, mysterious, and great, carrying an innate power and nobility that stands high above all things.

Primal power surrounds it, defying all attempts at scrutiny or perception. The depths of the soul are not empty, as an indescribable rage erupts from within.

As he applies slight pressure and his fingers touch the soul once more, a stinging sensation strikes him.

The pupils of Tzeentch's hundred eyes dilate slightly as he watches in astonishment: the power of the Warp is being slowly absorbed by the soul, assimilated into a part of itself.

This discovery surprises the Chaos God, and in a flash of realization, the soul in his hand grows slightly stronger.

Before he can study it further, bursts of wild laughter echo from outside the labyrinth.

The laughter is deep and powerful, accompanied by the clatter of armor, causing the surrounding Lords of Change to tense up and instinctively tighten their grips on their staves.

"Hahahahahaha."

The power of Khorne spreads, and rolling red clouds rise at the edges of Tzeentch's deep blue domain. The two divine powers probe one another at the borders; an invisible contest has already begun, even before the wills of the Chaos Gods have descended.

"What is there to be happy about? Hic—naturally, it is the wound appearing upon eternal change; it proves that change, too, can decline."

Another burst of wanton laughter follows, accompanied by a hiccup that sounds like an excessively obese old man choking.

What follows is a surge of green, as boundless vitality erupts at the edge of Tzeentch's domain, causing weeds to overgrow into towering trees.

The consciousness of Nurgle, one of the four gods, descends, mocking the inherent powerlessness of Tzeentch's nature.

They are natural enemies; Tzeentch is eternal change, while Nurgle is the stagnation of all things.
