Background / History

Aoba is a member of a minor ninja clan with its own unique heritage. After graduating from the Ninja Academy, he is assigned to Team Nine alongside Kazekaze Genma and Shizune under Hatake Sakumo, the White Fang of Konoha. The assignment initially leaves him awestruck, as Sakumo is a legendary ninja. 21 27

During Sakumo’s bell test, Aoba accepts a supporting role behind Genma. He coordinates shuriken attacks with Genma’s movements, uses the Great Fireball Technique to create openings, and locates Sakumo’s hidden real body through Sensory Ninjutsu.
