Writer's Block, I'll sort out the plot.

I watched a few of the theatrical versions I had planned to use today, only to find that the actual plot deviates significantly from the edited summaries. It's absolute trash.

My head is a bit of a mess right now. On one hand, there's the issue of integrating the theatrical versions, and on the other, the scope has become too large, making it difficult to wrap things up.

When I was just a reader, I thought handling the grander scale of a story wasn't difficult at all. Now that I'm writing it myself, I've realized that writing on a grand scale involves too many ensemble characters, which makes it easy for the narrative to feel hollow.

I reached out to some experienced author friends today for advice. I'm currently reorganizing the upcoming plot and adjusting my mindset, striving to make the subsequent chapters feel punchy and satisfying again.
