Kizaru and Tsunade's Meeting

With the conversation concluded, Yamato exited the Hokage Office.

In the report he had just delivered, Yamato detailed how Kizaru had crossed over and how he had secretly passed them information, allowing them to avoid an ambush.

Kizaru had not told Yamato exactly who had set the ambush, but both Yamato and Tsunade had roughly guessed the mastermind behind it.

There was no need to overthink who would know their route and timing for returning to the village, and who would have a motive to strike at them.

That bastard Danzo—he still hadn't given up on the position of Hokage!

The Old Man had just died and left a mess behind; if he was going to die, why didn't he take that bastard Danzo with him?

After venting her frustrations internally and feeling dissatisfied with many things within Konoha that she currently had no way to resolve, Tsunade slammed her desk in annoyance.

Fortunately, Tsunade controlled her strength, preventing the wooden desk from shattering.

"Lady Tsunade, are you alright?" Shizune, who had just entered, asked with concern upon seeing Tsunade's angry expression.

Tsunade gave Shizune a look, signaling her to close the office door, then beckoned her to come closer.

"How is that person at the hospital doing now?" Tsunade asked once Shizune had approached.

"He is recovering well, though he has been very eager to see you," Shizune replied.

Tsunade nodded, stood up from her seat, and picked up the coat from the back of her chair to put it on.

"Lady Tsunade, are you going...?" Shizune asked in a
