In a luxuriously furnished room, Crocodile, dressed in a fresh set of clothes, politely invited his honored guest, Kizaru, to sit down.
After their friendly exchange just now, Crocodile had once again relived the feelings he'd experienced when dealing with Whitebeard.
With a bruise on his face, Crocodile sat across from Kizaru and courteously lit a cigar for him.
Taking the cigar, Kizaru smiled and said, "You protected Robin so she could help you decipher the Poneglyph beneath the palace. You want to find the legendary Ancient Weapon, Pluton."
Kizaru bluntly laid bare Crocodile's ambition, making the Sand Crocodile's expression darken.
"You people..." Sand Crocodile was already prepared to fight to the death.
"Don't get worked up. I told you, I came to talk business. You want to find Pluton? There's no need to go through all that trouble. I can tell you right now where it is." As he spoke, Kizaru lifted his right hand from the armrest, took a slow drag on his cigar, and exhaled toward the space in front of him.
Crocodile paid no attention to the smoke drifting his way; he was completely focused on what Kizaru had said.
"You know where Pluton is?" Crocodile didn't quite believe him.
If this self-proclaimed businessman knew where Pluton was, would he really be kind enough to tell him?
Unless...
Crocodile thought of one possibility: unless the place where Pluton was hidden was dangerous, and they wanted to use him to scout ahead.
Judging others by himself, the cunning and treacherous Sand Crocodile became more and more convinced that this was the most likely explanation.
"There is no Pluton left in this world," Kizaru answered calmly.
"What do you mean? Are you making a fool of me?" Crocodile said unhappily.
"No, no!" Kizaru wagged a finger and asked,
