Kizaru's Preparations

In the Alabasta Kingdom, Kizaru returned to this superpower in the first half of the Grand Line.

Kizaru hadn't come back to keep an eye on Sand Crocodile, nor out of a sudden kindness to save a country being plotted against by pirates.

In Kizaru's eyes, Nefertari Cobra, king of the Alabasta Kingdom, was at best a good person, but he certainly wasn't a good king.

As the king of a superpower, he had been manipulated by a pirate to this extent. That alone showed how incompetent he was.

If a royal family like this was wiped out by a pirate's scheme, it could only mean they couldn't bear the weight of the crown.

In any era, under any circumstances, a good person by nature couldn't make a good king.

Kizaru had returned to wait for someone. He wasn't waiting for Luffy, but for Luffy's older brother, Ace.

Likewise, Kizaru wasn't acting out of kindness and trying to save Ace. On the contrary, he wanted to confirm one thing: that Blackbeard would defeat Ace and hand him over to the Marines.

Ace's capture and the outbreak of the Summit War offered Kizaru the best opportunity to launch a war and seize the entire East Blue.

During the Paramount War, the Marines' elite forces would all be summoned to Marine Headquarters. If Kizaru launched his war then, it would cost him the least.

Also, to ensure that the Whitebeard Pirates could drain more of the Marines' strength during the Paramount War, Kizaru planned to provide them with weapons for free after Ace was captured.

At the same time, he planned to send the Assassin Brotherhood, led by Minato, to take part in the war and deal a heavy blow to Marine Headquarters.
