One After Another

After Garp, the Red Hair Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates arrived in the East Blue at almost the same time.

As two of the Four Emperors at the pinnacle of the sea, neither man encountered any resistance on his voyage.

It wasn't until they entered the East Blue that they came across patrol ships dispatched by the Land of Light.

"The Land of Light welcomes all visitors from the sea. However, all pirates entering the Land of Light must obey our laws. You may not harass or plunder civilians or ships under the Land of Light's jurisdiction."

"Anyone who breaks these laws will be brought to justice by the Land of Light!"

The captain of the patrol ship was a Jonin. Facing the mighty Four Emperors, he issued his warning without fear and had his men deliver a copy of the Land of Light's newly issued abridged legal code.

"Gurararara!" Whitebeard laughed. He had come to thank Kizaru for his help and to see how the East Blue had changed under Kizaru's rule.

Marco, standing nearby, ambled forward lazily and accepted the document. "We're here to thank Kizaru for helping us at Marine Headquarters."

"I've already sent word to Lord Kizaru," the Jonin replied.

"Thanks." After thanking him, Marco turned back to Whitebeard and held out the book. "Pops."

"Gurararara! Marco, give it a good read! Then tell me all about it," Whitebeard ordered with a wave of his hand.

Marco sighed. As a pirate, he wasn't fond of reading, especially books about the law.

The other pirates on deck heard Pops's order and burst into laughter, some of them looking at Marco with amusement.

As pirates, most of them had no interest in reading.
