"Gentlemen, what do you think of the soldiers of the Land of Light?"
Kizaru took the cigar from his mouth and looked at Kaido and Big Mom beside him with a beaming smile, asking a question he already knew the answer to.
"How many soldiers like these do you have?" Kaido asked curiously. Big Mom beside him watched Kizaru as well, waiting for his answer.
Given the top-tier combat strength the Land of Light had displayed, if it also had a substantial number of soldiers, Kaido and Big Mom could imagine it having the confidence to face the World Government head-on as a nation.
It didn't need to be an enormous number. All the Land of Light needed was over a hundred thousand soldiers of comparable quality.
And even that estimate of a hundred thousand was based on the assumption that the Land of Light had no other combatants on the level of the Four Emperors or Admirals.
Faced with the question, Kizaru merely smiled and answered in an utterly casual tone, "The Land of Light has around two hundred thousand active-duty soldiers."
That number wasn't something Kizaru had made up. They really could field that many.
And that didn't even include the ninjas who had been transferred to non-combat roles due to age or injuries, or the freelance ninjas who had chosen not to enlist and instead accepted civilian contracts.
If those people were included, and Genin-level ability was the minimum standard, then the Land of Light could raise an army of nearly three hundred thousand at its absolute limit.
Hearing Kizaru's answer, even Kaido and Big Mom, two of the Four Emperors, couldn't help feeling a little shocked.
"Lord Kizaru, the strength of the Land of Light has truly exceeded our expectations!" Big Mom said, unusually serious.
"It's
