Inviting Rayleigh

In Area 13 of the Sabaody Archipelago, inside a bar called Shakky's Rip-off Bar, Rayleigh was sprawled across the counter, pleasantly tipsy.

Behind the counter, the bar's owner—former empress of the Amazon Lily Kingdom and former captain of the Kuja Pirates, Shakky—lit a cigarette and gazed toward the bar's entrance. "Looks like someone pretty impressive has come to the island."

Rayleigh, who had been lying on the counter, opened his eyes. A strange glint flashed behind his rimless glasses.

He pushed himself up with a weary sigh and propped his chin on his hand. "Trouble's already here."

As soon as he finished speaking, several figures cast their shadows into the bar in the sunlight.

Shakky turned toward the newcomers and smiled elegantly. "Welcome. What can I get you to drink?"

Standing in the doorway, Danzo regarded the two people inside with a cold, scrutinizing gaze.

"Ohoho! We came to a bar, so of course we want a drink. Whatever good stuff you have stashed away, bring it out, barmaid." Kizaru walked past Danzo and entered the bar first, heading casually toward the counter.

"Drinks here don't come cheap, honored guests from the Land of Light." Shakky smiled at Kizaru, openly revealing that she knew where they were from.

"Your intelligence is as timely as ever." Kizaru reached the counter and took the seat beside Rayleigh. He rested his left forearm on the counter, turned toward Shakky, and glanced at Rayleigh from the corner of his eye.

As the two spoke, Danzo raised his right hand. The guards behind him vanished without a sound, and he himself strode into the bar.

Danzo's display was a deliberate attempt to show off the Land of Light's strength to Shakky and Rayleigh.
