The Archbishops Attack!

BOOM!!!

An abrupt, thunderous blast erupted over Water Gate City.

Rubble and black smoke poured down from its outer defenses.

"I declare that all authority here now belongs to me, Regulus!"

An arrogant, shameless sneer accompanied the proclamation.

At the very heart of the city,

atop a towering control tower,

a young man with white hair and an elegant white robe slowly appeared.

The Sin Archbishop, Regulus Corneas,

had arrived.

He looked down with eyes clear of all impurity, yet cold beyond measure.

His right foot

rested brazenly on the control tower's golden, rune-carved railing.

"This is an open violation and desecration of my personal rights!"

Regulus launched into a long, furious tirade.

"Lord Regulus, why waste words on these docile lumps of meat?"

As Regulus's voice faded,

two towering figures radiating violent Special Grade waves of Cursed Energy and magic appeared amid the ripples below the control tower.

Slowly,

they stepped out of the gathering shadows.

The Sin Archbishop of Wrath, Sirius.

One on each side, they stood along the street, their expressions grotesquely twisted.

The city fell.

Water Gate City's defenses, protecting hundreds of thousands of people,

faced a combined surprise attack by three Special Grade Sin Archbishops.

In an instant,

they collapsed completely, plunging the city into utter devastation.
