Personality

Tang Wulin is intensely competitive and refuses to let defeat become discouragement. After losing the Shrek examination match against the Sun-Moon Twins, he analyzes the battle rather than sulking and remains convinced that his team can eventually surpass them through effort. 16

He values genuine companionship over expediency. Although Old Tang tells him that becoming close to the twins would benefit his cultivation, Tang Wulin explicitly resolves to earn their friendship and become their comrade rather than exploit them. 29

As a leader, he can be pragmatic under pressure. During the North Sea Legion incident, he chooses not to resist an armed arrest because fighting would jeopardize his team's mission; later, he coordinates their escape attempt and personally challenges Yun Qianyue to create an opening. 116 118

Forging Partnership with the Sun-Moon Twins
