Hermes was dumbfounded.
"Poseidon? Why would he come?" Hermes murmured as he looked at the barely conscious Oceannus, whose eyes had rolled back.
"Oceannus!" Ruslan shoved past the two gods, rushed to Oceannus's side, and lifted him into his arms. "Oceannus! What's wrong, Oceannus?!"
Blood had sprayed from Oceannus's nose and mouth, and it was still pouring out nonstop. The amount of blood loss was enormous.
"Something's wrong. This much bleeding isn't right." Ruslan was nearly frantic. "How could he be bleeding so much? Oceannus, hang in there! Oceannus! Oceannus!"
Meanwhile, Poseidon remained outside, standing atop the sea as towering waves rose around him, roaring furiously, "My son! Get out here! Answer me! What did you do?!"
On his way here, his simulated thought process had finally figured out what that intensely unsettling sensation was.

On the true-body Machine God, a Divine Core corresponded to various vital locations. Naturally, if it formed in something resembling a human body, the corresponding location would be equally important.
