Brotherly Affection

Oceannus was locked inside a cage.

The cage stood at the center of the Great Altar.

Oceannus's hands and feet were restrained by special ceremonial attire, and his mouth had been gagged as well.

Several gods stood around it, observing Oceannus as though he were some rare animal.

"So this is a demigod? He doesn't seem any different from an ordinary human." A woman in a black ceremonial gown smiled sharply, her eyes narrowed into slits as she studied the unconscious Oceannus in the cage.

"The Great God descends." Following the imposing proclamation, a tall, majestic, pallid figure descended upon the Great Altar.

"Oceannus." This was Zeus's first time seeing Oceannus.

After summoning two divine servants, Zeus tapped his staff against the ground. "Take Oceannus to my laboratory. Handle him with care. He is a very important test subject."

"Yes, Great God." The servants bowed expressionlessly and lifted the cage.

"Great God." The several gods bowed slightly, showing Zeus their respect.

After acknowledging them with a nod, Zeus headed toward the Machine God Corridor.

Orbit around the planet, Apollo's divine palace.

"So, Hermes, what exactly were you thinking?" Apollo looked rather helpless. "Is that demigod brat really that precious to you?"

He sat in his chair, idly taking sips from a cup filled with some unknown liquid.

"...Brother, you still remember what you taught me, right?" Hermes curled up in a chair, hugging his knees.

Though Hermes was suspected of concealing information, Zeus still considered their old relationship. Besides, he possessed absolute confidence—bordering on arrogance—that no situation could escape his control. So he did not punish Hermes, merely instructing Apollo to take Hermes to the divine palace and keep watch over him.

"Ah, you mean that. Brotherly affection?" Apollo sighed. "So that means?"
