On the sea.
Jason was taking a nap, while Heracles had gone to look for food.
Meanwhile, Medea's consciousness gradually sank deeper.
She was making contact—contacting the being that had truly summoned her to this Singularity.
The one she truly served.
She was a very conflicted person. Although Jason was also someone she served, and she had even said herself that she wanted to become Jason's perfect wife, she was equally unwilling to abandon her loyalty here.
That was Medea. Even though she had not yet reached the age at which she became a witch, this twisted way of thinking had already planted the seeds for the witch she would become.
Though, strictly speaking, she had manifested as a Servant from a portion of Medea's life.
"Medea, my Servant, rebel against humanity's order—why do you contact me at this time?"
That voice rang within Medea's mind. Like a god's whisper, it carried temptation and unfathomably deep darkness.
"My Master, the one I truly serve, great Demon God." Medea expressed obedience and respect toward the owner of that voice. "I have certain concerns regarding this sea Singularity."
"What concerns?" The owner of the voice boomed like thunder as it questioned Medea.
"Previously, we used the Holy Grail to summon a Servant, but this Servant makes me deeply uneasy." Medea truthfully reported her worries. "He is extremely powerful—powerful enough that this entire Singularity could become a source of his strength. He can disregard the compulsive force of Command Spells, and most importantly, he is extremely wary of me."
"So I am deeply uneasy. That Servant may have... noticed something."
The owner of the voice fell silent.
Twenty seconds later, the voice rang out again.
"What is that Servant's True Name?"
"It is Oceannus." Medea narrowed her eyes slightly.
The Temple of Time.
