"What are you trying to do now?" Ruslan shielded Norla behind him as he faced Serim.

He knew that perhaps he should not have stood in the way, that he should have followed the course of events, but...

"You'd better think this through, Patriarch! Serim Zolgen!" he shouted. "You can still turn back!"

"You can't turn back anymore, Serim!" he roared as he wept. "I know what your ending will be! You're already standing on the edge of a cliff!"
