Ruslan hurriedly chased after him, only to find that after briefly venting his rage within the manor, Anno had run off into the distance.
Several servants' corpses had been casually thrown into the courtyard, leaving only devastation along the road.
"AAAAAHHHH!!!"
Boom—
Two powerful hind legs stomped against the ground, each step leaving a clearly visible imprint in the earth.
This body brought pain to the life within it.
Intense hatred and fury filled every part of its consciousness.
Revenge—
Destruction—
Zolgen—!!!
It shrieked and roared toward the path ahead.
Other than the two Zolgens behind it, it could see them—because of its overwhelming fury, its overwhelming resentment—it could see them!
Across from the city-state before it, there were Zolgens!
"AAAH—!! AAAAHHH!!!" He suddenly caught sight of a massive building not far down the road and instinctively charged toward it.
This was a tannery.
"AAAHHH—"
Boom! Boom! Boom—!!!
Its hard body, formed from magical energy and ore, crashed violently into the tannery.
What would happen when a terrifying monster encountered starving, unarmed factory workers hardly needed explaining.
Anno's body was drenched in blood, while the wails and sobs of survivors still echoed through the tannery.
Anno's compound eyes, formed of magical energy, stared at the person before him.
The man was plump and trembling in terror.
"N-No. Don't kill me. AAAAHHH—!!!"
Anno spewed a blue-white breath of magical energy, like flame, from his mouth. The plump tannery owner who had sold him to Selim was reduced directly to charred ash within that breath.
It was the product of an error.
Naturally, everything it did was also wrong.
After destroying the tannery, Anno continued toward the Zolgen Family's great manor across from London.
It had no reason, nor could reason possibly exist within it.
It did not know right from wrong.
