Type Zero smiled. "Growth is necessary. I may be more rational, but rationality can stir emotion. The two cannot be completely separated."

"Perhaps that elf from last year stirred something in my brother. It feels like he changed a great deal after that." Type One was not inherently impatient. In contrast to Type Zero, he was a machine whose emotions suppressed his reason. Compared to a machine, he was more like a "person."
