Tohsaka Rin and Waver's opening exchange immediately made clear why the two had met here.
How should one put it? It was somewhat unexpected, yet also perfectly reasonable.
In the Light Screen footage, after hearing Waver out, Tohsaka Rin stated bluntly, "I'm honored by your interest, but I'm sorry—I have absolutely no interest in joining this organization."
"Professor, you should understand what it is I truly want to do."
Waver nodded. "I understand. From beginning to end, you have wanted to find your father, and you have been working toward that goal."
"So, before I came here, Chaldeas's director—Lord Animusphere—had already offered the price for inviting you."
Tohsaka Rin narrowed her eyes. "Are you saying Chaldeas can help me find my father?"
Rather than answer, Waver took out a document and handed it to Tohsaka Rin. She immediately began reading it after taking it. It contained a great deal of information, and the Light Screen footage deliberately showed one entry labeled "Spiritron Transfer."
As Tohsaka Rin read, her eyes widened slightly, as though she were surprised.
Then Tohsaka Rin looked up. "This miracle-like technology has actually been achieved?"
Waver said, "It has indeed been achieved. However, there are not many people capable of adapting to Spiritron Transfer, and those who possess both Spiritron Transfer compatibility and the qualifications of a Master are even rarer."
"But Tohsaka, without question, you are one of those talented individuals."
After a pause, he added, "Furthermore, your friend, Emiya Shirou, also possesses this talent. We have already extended an invitation to him, and he has accepted."
Tohsaka Rin froze for a moment, then lowered her head slightly. "Yes... if it's Shirou, accepting the invitation isn't exactly surprising..."
Then she lowered her head again and continued flipping through the document. Soon, she reached the final page.
