Illya had already suffered terribly in the Light Screen footage of the Fifth Holy Grail War. They had thought that in the timeline of the Fourth Holy Grail War, with the Emiya couple living happily, Illya could be happy too. Only now did they realize how naive they had been.
This dark and cruel world was utterly deranged. After giving people the beauty of hope, it immediately delivered an even darker cruelty.
