Legolas saw that the arrows embedded in the door were extremely crude and hurriedly shouted a warning.
Without a second thought, Aragorn immediately dragged over several tables and other objects, piling them behind the doors as temporary barricades and cover.
Boromir reacted just as quickly. His gaze swept toward a corner, and he rushed over to pick up two heavy long-handled battle axes from beside the dwarf bones. He swiftly wedged them behind the doors, locking the two panels firmly in place. Then Legolas and Aragorn both took their bows from their backs, retreated several steps, nocked arrows, and aimed at the doors. Boromir raised the longsword and knight's shield in his hands and stood steadily at Aragorn's side. Wang Zhen and the others also drew their weapons, ready for battle.
