Hidden Consciousness (4K)

Outside the Toluca Police Department, a large number of officers suddenly rushed out of the station. Their expressions were grim and they remained on guard, yet not a single one reached for the pistols at their waists.

It was as though those pistols were nothing more than superfluous fire pokers.

There were around seven officers present, led by Officer Thomas. Their actions left the other officers inside the station utterly confused.

"Is... is something happening?" one male officer asked blankly after setting down his cup of water.

Through the window, he had not seen anyone or anything unusual. He simply could not understand what had gotten into those seven colleagues of his.

"Not sure. How about... we go stand guard too? Even if this is pretty strange." Another officer picked up his sidearm and decided to follow the crowd outside.

"Sure!" The male officer put down his cup and hurried outside with his colleague. The first thing they did upon leaving was draw their pistols, disengage the safeties, and go on alert.

Cybil, who had been sorting through documents, noticed the other officers' strange behavior. After immediately calling the police chief, who was out at the time, to report it, she went outside on guard as well.

"Thomas, what's going on? Did you receive an attack message, or did you spot something unusual?" she asked.

Thomas, who had gone out first, paid her no attention. Without saying a word, he stood ready for battle, glaring fiercely at the roadside across from them.

Before Cybil could ask again, the bewildered ordinary officers saw a woman in a long black priest's robe emerge slowly from the grass by the roadside. A stiff smile hung on her face as she walked toward the police station.

"Stop! Stop, or I'll shoot!" shouted the officer
