Wu Heng turned and returned to the lava beneath Silent Hill's Otherworld.

Deep within the roaring layers of lava, around a hundred meters below, the lava here had changed completely.

Its color was like asphalt, burning with black flames. Rather than possessing the scorching heat of ordinary orange-red lava, it was freezing cold, like ice that had endured for ten thousand years.

The instant an ordinary person touched those black flames, they would be frozen into an ice sculpture.

This was the deepest level of the Otherworld, the location that would become the deepest level of Hell—the cruelest place in Hell.

Wu Heng had temporarily turned this place into a safe base.

Standing within a space held open by the Dream Realm, he slowly opened his palm, and that unique Dream Realm containing all authority over Silent Hill's Otherworld emerged.

At the center of the palm-sized dark realm was a flickering beam of white light.

That white light was the surface world authority Wu Heng had intercepted from Alessa's body during the ritual.

Wu Heng's expression turned solemn as immense Nightmare Power surged from his palm, continuously flowing into the miniature realm.

The black-filled realm

began to spin under the impact of Nightmare Power. It turned faster and faster, until, at an extreme speed, it became a perfectly round black sphere.

Under that powerful centrifugal and compressive force, the beam of light at its center was compressed and forcibly fused into the dark authority of the Otherworld.

At that moment, within the layer of Silent Hill above, the Otherworld's black mist actually seeped upward, passing through the spatial barrier and appearing in the surface world.

The roiling black mist gradually stained the surface world's originally tranquil, deathly still environment.

Around one-fifth of the surface world had been claimed by darkness.
