Hearing the words from the other end of the line, Huang Yaozu's presence instantly intensified. He covered his ex-wife's ears with his fingers, then suddenly exerted force, shooting forward and landing on the ground.

He swept the bone-spike whisk across a spot beside him.

The ground immediately bulged upward into a large mound. The concrete cracked open, and Li Guoqiang emerged from within. The whisk had just swept across a spot some distance ahead and to his side, and he realized Huang Yaozu was calling for him.

Huang Yaozu jumped down and squeezed into the hole, returning to human form in the partially collapsed tunnel ten meters underground behind Li Guoqiang.

He first took the phone from his ex-wife's hand and muted it before saying, "Guoqiang, take us forward."

Li Guoqiang nodded and used one hand to shield the two of them.

Holding the tower in one hand, he drove its body forward like a drill bit, yet it was no slower than using both hands.

Evil ghosts could possess human bodies and even inherit their memories.
