"This is the director from the rumored mass disappearance at the hospital!" Seung-wook said.
"He looks kind of scary!"
"Yeah."
A flashlight shone over a photo nearby. It showed an award ceremony and the director playing table tennis.
The five of them stood before the camera, talking nonstop.
Ji-hyun noticed that Ah-yeon had not said a word. Thinking the younger girl was scared because of her age, she put an arm around her shoulders and smiled as she whispered:
"First time taking part in an exploration like this?"
"Don't be scared. It's fine, they're all just old dead things."
Ah-yeon looked toward the spot above Seung-wook's head and tremblingly raised her left hand. "It's alive!"
"It's growing."
Holding the snowflake, she saw a different scene. This snowflake had been created by Wu Heng, gathering the fear of the six of them and turning it into Nightmare Power.
Ah-yeon's voice was too quiet for Ji-hyun to hear clearly. She gave a puzzled "Huh?" and looked in the direction Ah-yeon was pointing.
Following Seung-wook's words, Ha-joon continued, "Looks like the director had quite a special relationship with the president!"
"I heard she was his younger sister."
"And her father was a president too."
While the three men talked, Charlotte could not hear what the two women were saying. She glanced back and happened to see Ah-yeon and Ji-hyun staring at something.
"Bang—!"
Before she could speak, a loud crash came from the ceiling.
"Ah~!"
"What?"
Charlotte and Ji-hyun screamed in fright. The three men, including Seung-wook, also jolted and hurriedly shone their flashlights toward where the sound had come from.
A section of the suspended ceiling had split in two, and from the pitch-black gap hung a mass of long black hair.
The hair was filthy and gave off a foul stench.
