Darkness surrounded him—boundless, without substance.

There was not even any up, down, left, or right. If not for the settlement text before him, merely turning around at random would likely make him lose all sense of direction completely.

Even with Wu Heng's senses and thought processes, he had yet to detect the end of this space. Perhaps it had no end at all.

"Every time I come here, my strength increases, but every time, I also get a harsh wake-up call," Wu Heng sighed.

This darkness made him clearly realize that he was still merely surviving within the Lighthouse, still nothing more than an ordinary survivor struggling to live.

Suppressing the urge to overestimate himself and explore, to wander through this dark space, he focused on the words that appeared before him:

Wu Heng was not surprised by this exploration level. This scenario world was too weak, and some of its strange places held no value at all. As long as it could be made into a permanent world and serve as another site for supplying soul energy, that would be enough.

Perhaps calling it a farm would be more appropriate. It sounded cold-hearted, but that was the privilege granted by the Lighthouse.

Perhaps the Lighthouse itself was cold-hearted by nature.

Just like the various characters in scenario worlds, to the Tower Guardians who descended upon them, they were merely as insignificant and fleeting as spring frogs,
