The sudden movement of the giant hand instantly plunged many people into despair.
They did not understand why. They only knew that once the giant hand came down, death would be waiting for them.
At that moment, many people were so frightened that they shut their eyes.
Yet after waiting for a while, they realized that the giant hand had not come down. After descending partway, it suddenly turned over.
The enormous, blood-soaked hand blotted out the sky, carrying incomparable force. Before everyone's horrified eyes, its palm turned upward.
Then it abruptly reached out toward the space beyond Earth.
Crack!
Outside the atmosphere, a miniature translucent planet appeared, visible to the naked eye.
Its surface kept swelling as though it were gestating something.
Like some kind of egg sac, it possessed tremendous resilience. Every time it expanded, the chains binding it outside creaked loudly.
Yet the chains would tighten deeply around its surface, even cutting into it and forcing it back into shape.
In that state, the giant hand rose with unstoppable force. As though gripping a quail egg, it closed around the translucent planet with a bang.
Black aura rose from the surface of the giant hand like billowing black smoke.
Countless wails came from its palm.
They were the final words of souls being extinguished. After all, this translucent planet was originally made of Soul Bricks.
The Soul Bricks were both numbed individual souls and vessels carrying a portion of the Creator's consciousness.
